The Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law donates several one-week guest visits to non-profit organizations to use at fund-raising events and auctions. Non-profit organizations interested in having a one-week visit donated for their fund-raising efforts should contact Peter Schey, CHRCL President and Executive Director, firstname.lastname@example.org, or Karena Heredia, CHRCL Administrator, (213) 388-8693 ext. 302, email@example.com. In order to cover CHRCL's costs of operating the Kauai retreat center, non-profits using a one week visit as a donated item will agree to reimburse CHRCL 30% (minimum of $750) of the donation the non-profit receives for the one-week visit. All visitors are also required to pay a $300 cleaning fee. Non-profit organizations and associations are welcome to apply to use the Center for Human Rights' Kauai Retreat Center to hold staff, Board, project, or client retreats. Retreats will normally be limited to three to seven days and may be attended by a maximum of twelve participants. If needed, a large house next door to the retreat center is also often available for rental at about $3,000 per week. The cost of use will be determined based upon the organization's budget. There will also be a $300 non-waivable cleaning fee for each use. Organizations interested in using the Kauai home for a retreat should review the Reservations link on this page and should contact Peter Schey, CHRCL President and Executive Director, firstname.lastname@example.org, or Karena Heredia, CHRCL Administrator, (213) 388-8693 ext. 302, email@example.com.
